Brief

Boost user engagement on the G-P platform by incorporating a portfolio of products that would aid customers in their global expansion efforts and modernize the existing user interface with innovative design solutions.

As Product Design Lead for Meridian Modules, I worked alongside three Product Managers and collaborated with three development teams, focusing on establishing uniform design patterns for reusability and efficiency.

Approach

The company wanted to use Meridian Modules to imagine the future of the business so walking on eggshells was the wrong approach. We did things our way and focused on the feedback of our beta testers and giving them what they needed.

The company was investing millions of dollars in Meridian Modules and we wanted to find useful insights that would inform how we designed and marketed the new platform —if there was pressure to release a feature that was too compromised we pushed back and asked for more from our engineers to build it with the key problems in mind.

I worked closely with the three product managers on Meridian Modules and our research teams to keep the pressure from the design perspective on. I used the data we were getting from user testers and our beta testers to keep quality and design improvements on the priorities board.

When testers gave feedback we reviewed it as a team and decided on what we needed to change. We ideated together as a group to propose solutions that were bold and ambitious and constantly reminded our engineering leads of our objectives with the platform so we wouldn't slow down and get into a cadence.

IQ: A comprehensive tool providing data-driven insights for global hiring and expansion, featuring salary comparisons and global talent data. It was crafted to give users a seamless way to access complex data through a streamlined UI/UX.

Advisor: A digital consultancy hub offering expert guidance at a fraction of the cost. Advisor began as an MVP and evolved into a full-fledged service with scheduling capabilities and a wide range of expertise areas, all accessible through a user-friendly interface.

Library: A central repository for essential documents required for international hiring and expansion, designed for easy navigation and quick document access. Future updates are planned to include a recommendation system based on user interactions.

Entity: A product simplifying the complexities of global expansion through interactive tools like cost and time calculators and an informative hub, designed to be both informative and user-friendly.

Marketplace: A transparent platform connecting businesses with vetted global vendors, equipped with a rating system and machine learning features to suggest relevant vendors and services.

Benefits: A visualization tool that clarifies global employee benefits, enabling easy comparison across different regions and job roles using data sourced from AI models and governmental resources.
